Who We Are

The Alzheimer's Association works to increase the reach of programs and initiatives that address the unique needs of individuals living with the disease, caregivers, and the public through direct service, volunteer delivery, community engagement, and partnerships. The Association is committed to increasing equitable access to early and accurate diagnosis, treatment, risk reduction, and quality care through health systems, healthcare payers, long-term care providers, and community-based resources.

Our Vision: A vision is a world without Alzheimer's and all other dementia.

Our mission: The Alzheimer's Association leads the way to end Alzheimer's and all other dementia — by accelerating global research, driving risk reduction and early detection, and maximizing quality care and support.

What We Do

The Alzheimer's Association provides education, information and referrals, care consultations, and support groups for San Benito County residents seeking help on Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias (AD/ADRD). Our no-cost programs and services are provided virtually and in person (with community partners in Hollister and San Juan Bautista), in English and Spanish for people living with Alzheimer’s and other dementias, their families, and caregivers. We are working to increase people’s awareness and understanding of AD/ADRD, while providing a comprehensive network of support for all those affected by this terrible disease.
